Terms of Service

Welcome to ChicChac™ ("Add that chic to your look."). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of chicchac.in and any purchase you make from it. By accessing the site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

The store is owned and operated by Anandeshwar Ventures (a Partnership firm), GSTIN 06ABYFA4402D1ZM ("ChicChac", "we", "us", "our").
Operating address: Basement, Plot No. 57, Sector 61, Mahendra Showroom, Ullahawas Village, Gurugram, Haryana 122003.

1. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
  • If you are under 18, you may use the site only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian.
  • We currently ship and sell within India only.

2. Products & Descriptions

  • We sell fashion / imitation jewellery. These are not precious-metal or precious-stone (hallmarked) products unless expressly stated.
  • We make reasonable efforts to display product colours, materials, and details accurately, but actual appearance may vary due to photography, screen settings, and the handcrafted/imitation nature of the items. Minor variations are not defects.
  • We reserve the right to limit quantities and to discontinue any product at any time.

3. Pricing & GST

  • All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (₹, INR) and are inclusive of applicable GST unless stated otherwise. A tax invoice is issued per applicable law.
  • We strive for accuracy, but pricing or listing errors may occur. If an item's correct price is different from that shown, we may cancel the order and refund any amount paid, at our discretion, after informing you.
  • Prices, offers, and shipping thresholds may change without notice; the price applicable is the one displayed at the time your order is confirmed.

4. Orders & Acceptance

  • Placing an order is an offer to buy. Our confirmation email/message acknowledges receipt but does not constitute acceptance.
  • A contract is formed only when we dispatch the item (or explicitly confirm acceptance). We may decline or cancel any order — e.g. for stock unavailability, suspected fraud, pricing errors, non-serviceable PIN codes, or failed COD confirmation — and will refund any amount already paid.

5. Payments

  • We accept payments via Razorpay — Card, UPI, Netbanking, and Wallets — and Cash on Delivery (COD) where available.
  • By making a payment, you confirm that the payment method used is lawfully yours.
  • We do not store your full card/UPI credentials; these are handled by our PCI-DSS-compliant payment gateway.

6. Cash on Delivery (COD)

  • COD is available on eligible orders and carries a non-refundable COD convenience fee of ₹40 over the product price.
  • COD is available on most serviceable pincodes; ChicChac may restrict COD on select high-value orders at its discretion.
  • To reduce fraudulent/return-to-origin orders, we may confirm COD orders via call, SMS, or WhatsApp before dispatch. If we cannot reach you or you do not confirm, the order may be auto-cancelled.
  • Refusing to accept a delivered COD order, or repeated non-acceptance, may result in restrictions on future COD orders.

7. Shipping & Delivery

  • Shipping charges, thresholds (free shipping on orders ≥ ₹499), and timelines are set out in our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
  • Delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees, and may be affected by courier, location, and force-majeure factors.

8. Cancellations, Returns, Exchanges & Refunds

  • Cancellation, return, exchange, and refund rights are governed by our Exchange & Return Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Please note the hygiene exclusion for pierced earrings/body jewellery.

9. Intellectual Property

  • ChicChac™ and its logo are trademarks of Anandeshwar Ventures (trademark application pending; the ™ symbol is used accordingly).
  • All content on chicchac.in — text, graphics, logos, images, product photography, designs, and layout — is owned by or licensed to us and protected by Indian and international IP laws.
  • You may not copy, reproduce, republish, sell, or exploit any part of the site or its content without our prior written permission.

10. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: use the site for any unlawful purpose; attempt to gain unauthorised access; introduce malware; scrape or harvest data; place fraudulent or speculative orders; or infringe our or others' rights. We may suspend or terminate access for breach.

11. Third-Party Links & Services

The site may link to or rely on third-party services (payment, shipping, analytics, social media). We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party sites; their terms and privacy policies apply to your use of them.

12. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

  • The site and products are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, our total aggregate liability arising out of any order or your use of the site shall not exceed the amount actually paid by you for the relevant order.
  • We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
  • Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or other applicable law.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Anandeshwar Ventures and its partners, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, or expenses arising out of your breach of these Terms or misuse of the site.

14. Force Majeure

We are not liable for any failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, courier/logistics disruptions, internet or payment-gateway outages, pandemics, or government actions.

15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to the dispute-resolution clause below, the courts at Gurugram, Haryana shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

16. Dispute Resolution

  • Please contact us first (Section 18) — we aim to resolve most issues amicably.
  • Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Gurugram, Haryana, under the laws of India.
  • Consumer remedies under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 remain available.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. The current version is posted on chicchac.in with the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
